How To Make Air Fryer Roasted Almonds
✱ Be sure to see the recipe card below for exact ingredients and full recipe instructions!
PREP: Preheat the air fryer to 325°F.
COAT: In a small bowl, add the almonds, olive oil or melted butter, and salt. Stir almonds until well-coated.
ROAST: Place whole raw almonds in the air fryer basket in a single layer and roast for 5 minutes. Give the basket a good shake every 2 minutes, until golden and toasted.
COOL: Let the roasted almonds completely cook before storing
Tips
- Raw Almonds can be bought in bulk and stored in the freezer for 18 to 24 months.
- Fry in a single layer: You want to place almonds in a single layer with room for hot air to circulate. Most air fryers will accommodate the cup and a half, however, sizes vary.
- Almonds, or any nuts for that matter, can go from done to burnt really quickly. So stay with them and check on them every 2 minutes. They will be a little darker in color, have a nutty aroma, and are still a little soft in the center. They will harden back up and become crunchy once cooled.
- Don’t store them in an airtight container until they are completely cooled.

These are fantastic! I love snacking on almonds and prefer to flavor and roast them myself. The air fryer puts a wonderful crisp on them!
Worked great! So much easier than turning on my oven just to chop and put on as a garnish.
This is genius! I can’t believe I never thought to do this before now. Life-changing!!!
I always roast my almonds on the stove, but they need lots of babysitting, I never thought about making it on the air fryer… it was such a discovery! Thank you, they turned out fantastic!
Oh wow! These almonds are amazing with that toasted flavor. I love how easily they come together in the air fryer and with only 3 ingredients.
