Hello foodies! Welcome to Nikki’s August 2024 Monthly Cooking Club Challenge! This month’s challenge recipe is my Pizza Pasta Casserole, a delicious comfort food casserole that also makes a great back-to-school recipe!
This month, I am combining two classics: Pizza and Pasta! I am mixing an easy and delicious pasta sauce with my favorite pizza toppings and baking them up in a scrumptious casserole dish! This one is a regular on the meal plan rotation in my kitchen!
I hope you’ll join in the fun and give this one a try and see what your friends and family think. Here’s how it works:
After you make your version of my Pizza Bake (remember, any variation is fine—add your favorite pizza toppings!), send us a picture of your creation!
- Make the recipe of the month.
- Snap photos of your creation.
- Email the photos to [email protected] by the last day of the month at 11:59 PM EST for a chance to win a $50 Amazon gift card.
- For a bonus entry, leave a review on the recipe!
- Share your recipe photos on social media! You could be featured in an upcoming post!

- Remember, make this your own. It’s really a versatile recipe.
- Change up the toppings or add in veggies to suit your family’s taste. Sometimes, I use Italian Sausage instead of ground beef in the sauce. The sky is the limit.
- If you want to make this meatless, you can. Use mushrooms, zucchini, or your favorite veggies in the sauce. Then top with sliced green peppers instead of pepperoni!
Last Month’s Recipe and Winner
Last month we made Banana Pudding Cake. I loved seeing all of your delicious versions and how you made them your own!
