Texas Roadhouse Butter Ingredients

  • Butter: Use softened unsalted butter. I don’t suggest using margarine or another butter alternative unless necessary– Real butter is best.
  • Honey: Add your favorite brand of honey. Keep in mind this ingredient is one of the stars of the show, so the better the quality, the better the results!
  • Cinnamon: Mix in some ground cinnamon for warm spice notes.
  • Vanilla: Vanilla extract deepens the creamy flavors of the butter recipe.
  • Salt: Add a bit of kosher salt, or use salted butter and omit this ingredient.
  • Powdered sugar: Add powdered sugar to the cinnamon butter recipe for a fluffy texture and extra sweetness.

How To Make Texas Roadhouse Butter

Be sure to see the recipe card below for exact ingredients and full recipe instructions!

Step 1 | Combine ingredients

Alright, let’s debunk the mystery of this iconic butter recipe! Grab a large mixing bowl or stand mixer and add the butter, honey cinnamon, vanilla, and a pinch of salt.

Beat with the stand mixer or a hand mixer on medium speed until you have a creamy and fluffy mixture, about three minutes or so.

Step 2 | Add sugar, mix, and serve!

Next, add the powdered sugar and continue combining the ingredients at medium speed for a minute. Once well mixed, serve the fresh cinnamon honey butter or store it in the fridge until it is ready to serve.

Yes, that is all there is to it.

Tips

  • Softened Butter– It helps to have the butter softened before mixing, making combining the ingredients much easier.
  • Don’t Overmix– Mix the ingredients until the butter mixture is fluffy and well combined. Over-mixing can lead to an unwanted texture.
  • Combining the Ingredients– An electric mixer is very handy for this compound butter recipe. However, if you don’t have one, use a rubber spatula and mix well until the ingredients are evenly combined.

Now hurry up, get some warm yeast rolls ready, and dig in!

If you feel like sharing, jar the cinnamon butter up in cute mason jars and add a bow. They make a great gift. Just be sure to refrigerate until gifting!
