Garlic butter shrimp scampi is quick, easy, and ready in minutes. Sauteed in garlic, butter, white wine and finished off with lemon and parsley. A deliciously perfect meal made in a flash!
1 ½poundslarge shrimpshelled and deveined , tails can be left on or off
salt and pepper to taste
½cupwhite wine
2Tablespoonsfresh lemon juice
3Tablespoonsfresh parsleychopped
¼teaspoonred pepper flakesoptional

Instructions
Heat olive oil and butter in a large pan or skillet, over medium high heat. Add garlic and saute about 1 minute.
Add in shrimp and season with salt and pepper to taste. Saute for 1 to 2 minutes per side until they just begin to turn pink.
Pour in wine, add red pepper flakes if desired. Bring to a simmer for 1 to 2 minutes and wine reduces by half. Make sure shrimp are cook through, but don't over cook.
Add lemon juice and parsley. Remove from heat and serve.
